Learn EFT
Learning EFT can be achieved at many different levels. A simple start is to download Gary Craig’s free 79 page manual from www.emofree.com. DVD’s are used commonly for EFT training and learning as well as books because of the benefit of more readily acquiring the language and rapport skills necessary through watching EFT in action. Links to recommended training DVD’s are available at the bottom of this section.
Integrated EFT run introductory courses that give a valuable practical based experience for people who want to know what benefits EFT can bring. Courses are also available with AAMET Practitioner Certification to professional level in Energy and Meridian Therapy, with standardised training at level 1 (EFT Trainings). The AAMET provides qualification for Practitioner (Level 2 & 3) and provides an attendance certificate for Level 1. It also provides certification for Trainers and Trainers of Trainers.
In 2008, EFT training and regulation in the UK became self governed by the AAMET the Association for the Advancement of Meriden Energy Techniques http://www.aamet.org . Before this time all EFT training and regulation was under the guidance of Gary Craig the American founder of EFT. From 2008 onwards the AAMET decided to become responsible for training standards, regulations and the practitioner’s code of conduct in order to meet UK standards.
It is still possible to follow Gary Craig’s EFT certification programme (http://www.emofree.com/ExamInfo/index.htm) but in order to be registered with the UK body, the AAMET, it is necessary to adhere to their requirements for training which not only require theoretical education but also practical competence. The series of EFT Academic Certification provided by Gary Craig, using remote learning and examination is based on his DVD sets. These certifications do not carry practitioner status.
